Narv
Gill
Narv Gill studied law at the University of New Brunswick and the
University of Victoria, receiving his LL.B. in 2001. He was a co-recipient
of the Smith Lyons Prize in Advocacy from the University of New
Brunswick law school in 1999. Before studying law, Narv received
his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University
of British Columbia.
Narv was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2002 and practiced
for two years in general civil and commercial litigation.
In January 2005, Narv joined Harris & Brun to focus on insurance
and personal injury law, as counsel to both plaintiffs and defendants.
He also advises clients on matters involving property insurance
and third-party liability policies, including disputes over coverage
and negligence claims against insurance brokers.
In his time away from the office, Narv enjoys cycling, volleyball,
and travel. He has travelled in Europe, northern India, Nepal, Hong
Kong, and Thailand. Closer to home, Narv is an active member of
the Rotary Club of Vancouver and the Canadian Bar Association, BC
Branch.
