Onkar’s broad litigation practice and experience dealing with clients of all backgrounds have taught him to provide sound, practical advice in a straightforward manner. He has experience representing clients in court and resolving issues and claims through alternative methods, like mediation. Onkar has an innate ability to hone into the issues that truly affect his clients and craft solutions that are efficient and effective.
Biography
Onkar is an associate with our firm. Originally from the Lower Mainland, he attended law school at Thompson Rivers University and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2017. Onkar began his career at a boutique full-service firm before practicing at an insurance defence firm. His experience includes representing clients in all levels of court in British Columbia. He joined Harris Brun in early 2022 and continues to focus on insurance defence files with a view to expanding his practice into other areas of law. His interests include immigration matters and criminal defence work.
Onkar is fluent in both English and Punjabi.
In his spare time, Onkar enjoys playing hockey, skiing, travelling, and exploring new restaurants.
